Overview
Windsor is located immediately adjacent to Highway 101, just 63 miles northwest of San Francisco, and 32 miles from the Pacific Ocean.  It is claimed that Hiram Lewis, finding the surrounding countryside reminiscent around Windsor Castle in England, gave the town its name. 

Windsor offers a modern, relaxed lifestyle, and a growing retail and industrial center for the North County, all set amidst the beautiful oak-clad hills and valleys of Sonoma County.
