Parks & Recreation Commission
Overview
The Parks and Recreation Commission is a standing citizen advisory committee composed of five Commissioners. Each Council Member appoints a Commissioner for a four-year term coinciding with that of the Council Member making the appointment. To be eligible for appointment to the Commission, one must be a resident of the Town of Windsor.
Duties
- Attend monthly Commission meetings and occasional special meetings
- Be available to the Town Council to research and recommend policy alternatives pertaining to the Town’s Parks and Recreation policies
- Be available to assist as volunteers for special projects
